The Parquet

Definition

We can define PARQUET like a floor or a wooden flooring with top layer of wood thicker than 2,5mm, before the installation. This is regulated by the european norm EN 13756 which affirms that that any wooden flooring less thick than 2.5 mm, should follow the UNE-EN 13329″ Coatings.”

“take note that the colloquial terms glued, floating etc.… refers to the installation system and
not to the parquet type, for example, a laminate flooring can be installed glued the same as a
solid wooden floor”.
